Dental veneers usually take two to three visits to complete. Dr. Lopez Bhushan will prepare the teeth by removing a small amount of enamel from each tooth. A physical impression will be taken, and you will then be fitted with temporary veneers while your final restorations are being created. Your new veneers will be ready to be permanently attached to your teeth in approximately two to three weeks. After Dr. Lopez Bhushan checks the fit and color and both you and he are satisfied, a special bonding cement will be used to secure the shells to your teeth. When your veneers are secured, Dr. Lopez Bhushan can make small adjustments to ensure that your veneers fit comfortably.

You should be able to resume normal activities following your visit to Dr.  Lopez Bhushan. There might be some sensitivity to cold and hot food/drinks for one to three days. Veneers are just like your regular teeth and you need to maintain them the same with regular flossing and brushing. Also, you should avoid chewing on hard objects that can damage your teeth like ice.
